For the last 30 years Federation Law (formerly known as MacMahon Associates) has provided various legal services.  We have particularly assisted people who with compensation claims, who have employment problems or who are in trouble with the police.

In the 1980s we identified the fact that a number of people were suffering from psychological injuries as a result of their employment. We brought these claims, which were then considered novel, to the Courts and were successful in having psychological claims accepted as valid work injuries.

The firm also successfully ran the first claim for a person who had suffered a heart attack in the course of their employment.

We became part of Teachers Federation in 2003 but continue to act for individuals who are not Teachers Federation members on a private basis.
